Summer 2022 is on the horizon
We are just 50 days from May 1, the official kick-off of season number two of Tide Runner Adventures and I am sitting by the fire watching the snowflakes fly this afternoon in coastal Delaware. But that is today and we can’t wait to be back out on the water with you!
Reflecting back to our very first season, we had so many good times and made so many great memories on the water! Our very first adventure was June 30, 2021 when we hosted the Stone family from Philadelphia for a fun day on the bay. It just got better from there. We hosted another 15 groups throughout the summer and fall. We hosted many sunset cruises on the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal, eco-tours up the Broadkill River, and plenty of fun days on the Delaware Bay.
We offered charter boat fishing trips out of Lewes as well and had some good action catching spot and croakers in the summer, tautog in the fall, and big striped bass in the early winter.
This season we are welcoming back a number of return guests from last year and we are looking forward to meeting lots of new guests looking to make some great memories on the water!
Welcome aboard for an unforgettable sunset cruise!
Coastal Delaware is known for many things, from its eclectic restaurant scene to wildly popular local festivals and some of the best beaches in the United States.
For a truly unforgettable experience at Delaware’s beaches, get your sea legs and head onto the water for views you can’t get with your feet planted firmly on solid ground.
An often-overlooked feature of this incredible part of the world is the magnificent sunsets.
One of the best ways to witness these naturally magnificent phenomena is relaxing on the deck of a boat in the lower Delaware Bay or cruising down the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal.
Tide Runner Adventures features these trips between May and September when nature puts on a dazzling show daily between 7:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
Lasting Memories
Watching a beautiful coastal Delaware sunset on land certainly is memorable but witnessing one while enjoying the cool breezes and peaceful waters in a boat on Delaware Bay is spectacular.
These sunset cruises are guaranteed to provide memories that will last a lifetime. Bring a camera or smartphone to capture these special moments with friends and family.
Sunset cruises by Tide Runner Adventures depart from downtown Lewes during the summer and early fall, with your ride meandering through the Roosevelt Inlet, then east to the picturesque lighthouses on the Delaware breakwater.
As the sun begins to set on a fun-filled day at Delaware’s beaches, your captain will steer the boat to the west for the show that awaits on the bay.

The private charter service is for a maximum of six passengers, making the Lewes sunset cruise an event you can share with the people most important to you. Complimentary soft drinks, water, and snacks are included.
Tide Runner Adventures wants you to have a sunset cruise to remember for years. Let us know if we can personalize your adventure. We customize every boat tour, and we will be sure to accommodate you for an evening you’ll never forget.
